The First Session of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress, after completing all the agenda, concluded in Changsha on the morning of January 18, 2023.

There should be 755 deputies at the meeting, and there were 739 deputies present. The number of attendants constitutes the quorum.

On the morning of January 18, the First Session of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress concluded.

There were 118 Hunan deputies elected to attend the 14th National People's Congress, including Shi Taifeng and He Wei, the candidates nominated by the central government. Prescribed by law, the deputy list will be announced by the Presidium and reported to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for qualification review.

A swearing-in ceremony was held at the meeting. The newly-elected director and deputy directors of the Standing Committee of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress; governor and vice governors of the People's Government of Hunan Province; director of the Hunan Provincial Supervisory Commission; president of the Hunan Provincial High People's Court, secretary general of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress; and, directors of relevant special committees took an oath of allegiance to the Constitution under the witness of all the participants.

The following documents were approved at the meeting:
1. Decisions made by the First Session of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress on the government work report;
2. Decisions on the 2022 Hunan provincial economic and social development plan implementation and the 2023 plan;
3. Decisions on the 2022 Hunan provincial budget implementation and the 2023 budget plan;
4. Decisions on the work report of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress;
5. Decisions on the work report of the High People's Court of Hunan Province;
6. Decisions on the work report of the People's Procuratorate of Hunan Province;
7. Decisions on the establishment of the special committees of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress; and,
8. Lists of directors; deputy directors, and members of related special committees of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress.
