The Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a Party leadership group (expansion) meeting on the morning of January 10, 2023. It announced the appointment and removal decisions of the central and provincial Party committees. Comrade Mao Wanchun becomes secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, while Comrade Li Weiwei will no longer serve as secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee.

On the morning of January 10, the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee held a Party leadership group (expansion) meeting.

Li Weiwei, chairwoman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Mao Wanchun, secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, attended and gave a speech. Wang Yiguang, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Organization Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, read out relevant appointment and removal documents of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, and introduced Comrade Mao Wanchun.
