Changsha's tax departments announced on September 12 that the average processing time for normal tax rebates has been reduced to 1.56 working days. From January to July this year, Changsha's "going global" enterprises have enjoyed 6.439 billion CNY in export tax rebates or exemptions.
"The national tax support policy has provided great help to the export businesses of enterprises. From January to August this year, more than 1,000 sets of aerial work platforms, excavators, and other equipment were shipped via China-Europe (Changsha) freight trains. The equipment, worth 180 million CNY in total, received more than 18 million CNY in export tax rebates, laying a solid foundation for us to continue developing a marketing network in the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative," said Nie Fenfang, director of the Financial Management Department of Sunward, adding that a customized freight train for Sunward products departed from Changsha for Europe on September 12.
To adapt to a new mechanism for the supervision of export tax rebate services, Changsha has set up an expert team to consult the taxpayers and learn about their needs through field visits, surveys, questionnaires, online communication and other methods. Efforts have been made to strengthen internal and external coordination in the key links of export tax rebates from acceptance and review to refund. An export tax refund linkage mechanism has been established, accelerating the transformation of export tax rebates from "paper data" to "funds on the account", timely easing the financial pressure on enterprises, and pressing a "fast-forward button" for enterprises' export tax rebates.
