Vice Governor He emphasized that it’s important for Hunan to perform in a comprehensively manner on the ASEAN economic and trade cooperation. Enterprises should play a major role in the work of Hunan-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation, strengthen the connections between enterprises, and turn their contact advantages into cooperation advantages. Governments at all levels should play a supporting role, make good use of the advantages of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, do a good job of top-level planning, and adjust policies in a timely manner according to problems. The chambers of commerce should act as a bridge to strengthen information communication and exchange of opinions, to make in-depth study of the organic economic and trade combination between Hunan and the ASEAN countries, and to promote effective cooperation.
