The 2020 Fortune China 500 list was released on July 27. Five Hunan companies made the list.

It was reported that the list included all Chinese companies listed in and outside China, and was based on the official data disclosed by listed companies on stock exchanges. The total operating income and net profits of the 500 listed Chinese companies both increased compared with the previous year. The annual revenue threshold of listed companies this year amounted to nearly 17.8 billion yuan, nearly 10% higher than that of last year.

The five companies were Valin Group, Dohia, Zoomlion, Lens Technology, and Better Life Group. Valin Group ranked 94th on the list with a revenue of 107.3 billion yuan, 7 places up from 101st last year. Dohia was listed for the first time with a rank of 134th due to reorganization, the change of main business to construction and infrastructure investment. Zoomlion advanced to 231st from 296th last year. Lens Technology and Better Life Group ranked 319th and 459th respectively.
