The Zoomlion Smart City Mobile Crane Park invested and operated by the construction machinery giant Zoomlion officially opened on September 28, 2024. With its opening, all of the four main machinery manufacturing parks of the Zoomlion Smart City have been completed and put into production. This marks the realization of digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing upgrading in all respects from main machinery to components and parts.
The Zoomlion Smart City Mobile Crane Park is the world's first intelligent "lighthouse factory" that encompasses the entire technological process for all parts of wheeled cranes. Its output value and per capita output lead the industry. The park covers an area of 1,500 mu (more than 100 ha.), with a building area of 440,000 square meters. There are 56 intelligent production lines, including 4 unmanned ones. More than 500 robots of various types are used, producing all main structural parts. One wheeled crane rolls off the production line every 18 minutes.
So far, the Zoomlion Smart City has innovated more than 150 lead-edge technologies, operating 12 world-leading intelligent factories, 20 unmanned production lines, 300 industry-leading intelligent production lines, and more than 2,000 industrial robots. It holds more than 700 patented technologies for production lines, and set up an international secretariat on industrial standards. In this smart city, digital technologies such as intelligent scheduling of production, industrial AI, digital twin, and whole-process intelligent logistics, are integrated into manufacturing. It has set several records, including: producing an excavator every 6 minutes, producing a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) every 7.5 minutes, producing a mobile crane every 18 minutes, and producing a truck mounted pump every 27 minutes. Upon full-capacity production, it will become the world's largest integrated industrial base of construction machinery with most complete product varieties.
