Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, inspected the development of new energy industry in Changsha on July 10, 2024. He asked to thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions made during his inspection tours in Hunan. He called for leading industrial innovation with technological innovation; making greater efforts to extend industrial chains and increase added value; and, continuously optimizing the industrial ecology, in a bid to provide strong support for high-quality development.

Hunan's new energy industry has been thriving in recent years, covering such key areas as new energy vehicles, advanced energy storage materials and power batteries, new energy and power equipment. Among them, the lithium battery and advanced energy storage materials industry has formed a whole chain industrial system of "mineral materials - energy storage materials - battery core - battery recycling", with distinctive features and advantages in the field of cathode materials.

On July 10, Secretary Shen visited the Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Co., Ltd., to learn about the progress of technological R&D and industrialization. 

On July 10, Secretary Shen learned about the upstream and downstream integration of new energy industrial chain at the Hunan Changyuan Lico Co., Ltd.

On July 10, Secretary Shen came to the Hunan Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., to learn about the green recycling of waste batteries.

On July 10, Secretary Shen learned about the upstream and downstream integration of new energy industrial chain at the CNGR New Energy Co., Ltd.

On July 10, Secretary Shen inspected the product exhibition at the Changsha Branch of GAC AION, to learn about the enterprise's technological innovation and market development.

On July 10, Secretary Shen came to the Hunan Megmeet Electric Co., Ltd., to learn about the enterprise's technological innovation, product application, and market development.
