World's Largest Single-set Capacity Caprolactam Production and R&D Base Runs Smoothly

The photo above, taken on December 21, shows the magnificent new area of Baling Petrochemical transformation and development project of caprolactam industrial chain relocation and upgrading running smoothly. With an annual output of 600,000 tons, the project successfully started full operation on December 15. This marked the completion and commissioning of the world's largest single set of production capacity and technologically leading caprolactam production and R&D base.

The project has adopted SINOPEC's new-generation caprolactam green technology with independent intellectual property rights, which is the first time that this technology has been industrially applied. At present, the new area of the project has a daily output of nearly 5,000 tons, producing over 10 kinds of products such as caprolactam, polyamide, liquid ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, nicotinic acid, cyclohexanone, cyclohexane, fine ethanol, sulfuric acid, and ammonium sulfate.
