The 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, is being held in Xiamen from September 8 to 11. An awarding ceremony for "China's Investment Hotspot Cities" took place on September 9. Changsha, also known as the "Star City", was among the "Investment Hotspot Cities," drawing global investors' attention with its openness and unique charm.

In recent years, Changsha has attracted widespread attention due to its solid industrial foundation, first-class business environment, and continuously emerging innovative vitality, maintaining a high level of investment interest.
To date, Changsha has attracted 201 Fortune Global 500 companies, showcasing the city's vigorous development vitality and its ever-increasing investment appeal in the new era. From January to July 2025, foreign direct investment in Changsha increased by 26.3% year-on-year. The number of newly established foreign-invested enterprises reached 140, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.06%. Since the beginning of this year, the city has coordinated efforts to resolve 81 issues faced by 68 foreign-funded enterprises.
