The Huaihua International Land Port (Cross-border) E-Commerce Industrial Park opened on June 13, 2024.
With a planning area of about 36,000 square meters, the park has customized various public service spaces to meet the needs of e-commerce enterprises, such as training rooms, public livestreaming rooms, product selection centers, and recording studios. The first batch of 10 enterprises have settled in the park. Among which, four cross-border e-commerce enterprises have conducted business on platforms such as Amazon, AliExpress, TikTok, and other independent websites; and, six domestic e-commerce enterprises have set up shops on platforms such as Douyin, Pinduoduo, and Taobao. Meanwhile, the park has negotiated with a number of leading e-commerce enterprises for collaboration, including AliExpress, Ali International Station, Cainiao Logistics, Douyin, Yiwu's small commodity markets, JD International, D-Trading Tech Service, and EDA Cloud Technologies., Ltd.
From January to May this year, Huaihua's foreign trade has increased by 83.8% to 5.56 billion CNY, with the year-on-year growth rate ranking first in the province. The export value reached 5.04 billion CNY, an increase of 81.9%, and the imports hit 520 million CNY, up 104.2%. The cross-border e-commerce exports exceeded 200 million CNY, making a 12-fold increase over last year.
A "Cross-border E-Commerce Platform Enters Cities and Prefectures (Huaihua Station)" and a "Foreign Merchants' Procurement in Huaihua" matchmaking events were held after the opening ceremony.
