This session is themed "Driven by Science and Technology, Empowered by Brands, Advancing All-round Rural Revitalization." The 80,000-sqm-exhibition area will have five specialized halls, respectively featuring inter-provincial exchanges, comprehensive exhibition, Hunan's cities and prefecture, industries, and fruit, vegetable, and snack food. Several activity zones will be set up simultaneously. During the expo, a series of key events will be held, including the Hunan Green Agricultural Products and Food Processing Industrial Chain Investment Promotion Conference, 2025 Agricultural Wholesale Market Production and Supply Cooperation Conference, and Quality Agricultural Products Promotion Conference.
Domestically, Tianjin Municipality will participate as a themed city, together with other 16 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) such as Sichuan, Jilin, and Hainan. Their exhibits will cover the entire agricultural industrial chain.
Internationally, the expo will have Laos and South Africa as its guest countries of honor. Businesses from dozens of countries and regions including Australia, France, Thailand, and Malaysia will come for exhibition and procurement. Beyond that, an international exchange area will be specially set up, displaying Southeast Asian fruits, African specialty food, European wines, and Middle Eastern treasures.
Since its inauguration in 1999, the Central China Agricultural Expo has been held for 26 years. It has grown into the only comprehensive agricultural event approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs with the "Central China" designation. This year's expo is guided by the Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Changsha Municipal People's Government, and jointly organized by Hunan Red Star Industrial Group, Chinese Agri-products Marketing Association, China Agriculture Exhibition Association, Agriculture Industry Chamber of Commerce (CAICC) of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), and China-ASEAN Chamber of Agricultural Commerce.
