Themed "China and Africa Together Toward Modernization", the main venue and the main exhibition hall of the expo will be set up at the Changsha International Conference Center and the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center respectively. The sub-exhibition halls will be located in the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Innovation Demonstration Park (Hunan Gaoqiao Grand Market) and the Central China (Xiangtan) International Machinery Park. A number of economic and trade activities will be organized focusing on the sectors of China-Africa partnership in infrastructure, agricultural cooperation, clean energy, textiles and garments, digital economy, and green minerals, as well as such topics as the Dialogue of Chinese and African CEOs, Dialogue of Chinese and African Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Project Matchmaking of the Pioneering Zone for In-depth China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation.

Special exhibition areas will also be established, featuring an innovative area showcasing famous brands from China-Africa cooperation.

In addition, the Quality African Products Online Shopping Festival will be launched at the end of April, to expand the visibility of high-quality African agricultural foodstuffs, promote the branding of African products, and enhance their influence in the Chinese market. Various activities will be carried out through both online and offline channels, including "pop-up shop" of African products, supermarket promotion campaigns, and live streaming events. These initiatives aim to familiarize more Chinese consumers with and increase their recognition of African goods.
