4th Hunan (Yueyang) Port Economic and Trade Expo Opens

The 4th Hunan (Yueyang) Port Economic and Trade Expo kicked off on October 24, 2024. More than 6,000 kinds of commodities from over 200 enterprises from home and abroad were exhibited in the Yueyang Culture and Art Convention and Exhibition Center. The expo will last until October 28, featuring several key events, including China-Germany (Yueyang, Hunan) Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference, Imported Agricultural Products Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference and Opening Ceremony of Agricultural Products Trading Website, Port Logistics Industry Development and Promotion Conference, along with other economic and trade cooperation activities.


The expo, covering an exhibition and demonstration area of 12,000 square meters, consists of five exhibition areas. There are indoor exhibition area for production and sales matchmaking and negotiation, outdoor exhibition area for international commodities, exhibition area for Hunan's each city and prefecture and five major logistics channels, exhibition area for port integration, Yueyang characteristics products exhibition area, and the port cities and logistics enterprises exhibition area.


Nine enterprises such as the Yueyang Chenglingji New Port Co., Ltd. attended as host exhibitors, exhibiting new technologies, products, and development in the fields of port logistics, digital technology, modern petrochemicals, international trade, and machinery and electronics in Yueyang City. Russia, Laos, Thailand, and African countries have organized delegations to participate in the expo, bringing their featured products. All the cities and prefecture in Hunan Province have set up booths at the expo, displaying local specialties and promoting regional advantageous industries on the spot, which will jointly boost the high-quality development of Hunan's open economy.
