2024 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair Slated for End of August

The 2024 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair (HCETF) will be held at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center (Mango Center) between August 30 and September 1. Seventeen mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Alibaba International, and Shopee have confirmed their participation in HCETF, the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province said on August 10. Leading e-commerce platforms from South Africa, Australia, Spain, and other countries will make their debut at the fair, comprehensively showcasing the latest development trends of B2B and B2C of the cross-border e-commerce industry.


The African-oriented platform Gecko, Catch, Miravia, and Tiantao International will make their debut at this fair. Gecko is a well-known cross-border e-commerce B2B platform in South Africa, headquartered in the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with 16,000 square meters of customs supervised warehouses in South Africa's Johannesburg and Changsha's Huanghua International Airports. Catch is one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Australia, with more than 3 million active customers, more than 8 million weekly visits to the website, and more than 20,000 daily orders. Miravia is a Spanish e-commerce platform launched by Alibaba, which targets the mid-range and high-end market mainly for female consumers. These leading platforms will bring new international perspectives and development opportunities for exhibitors.


HCETF has been successfully held for two years. The 2023 session attracted more than 600 famous brands and 20,000 professionals from all over the world to gather in Changsha, presenting more than 100,000 pieces of commodities. This year's fair has set up six exhibition areas, including a cross-border e-commerce platform exhibition area, a cross-border e-commerce product selection exhibition area, a cross-border e-commerce service provider exhibition area, a Hunan characteristic industrial belt exhibition area, a livestreaming area, and a thematic activity area. It will also host such activities as the Hunan products going global all-channel matchmaking conference and the Changsha Cross-border E-commerce Key Industry Promotion and Exchange Meeting, to satisfy the diversified needs of cross-border e-commerce enterprises, and to further promote the accurate matchmaking of domestic and international industrial resources.
