The China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME) 2024 will be held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center between October 26 and 28. Fan Jianhua, president of the China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA), made the announcement at the opening ceremony of the China Agricultural Machinery Exhibition on March 28, 2024. The CIAME 2024 will be organized by CAMDA, China Agricultural Mechanization Association, and China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers.
CIAME is Asia's largest and world-renowned international agricultural machinery professional exhibition. As a touring exhibition, it attracts cities with a distinguished convention hosting reputation from across the nation to compete for the privilege of hosting. With the efforts of multiple parties, Changsha won the bid for hosting the exhibition this year. The exhibition will play an important role in promoting the accelerated development of agricultural mechanization in Changsha and Hunan, enhancing the integration of upstream and downstream industrial chains of agricultural machinery, and advancing the convention and exhibition economy. The 2024 session is expected to cover an exhibition area of 220,000 square meters, making it the highest grade and largest national professional exhibition tour in Changsha this year.
This is the first time that such a large-scale international exhibition will be held in a city located in the southern region of the Yangtze River. This will bring far-reaching impacts in terms of making up for the weakness of agricultural mechanization in hilly and mountainous areas, creating a hub for the development of intelligent agricultural machinery industrial chain, accelerating the development of new quality agricultural productive forces, and jointly boosting the high-quality development of agricultural machinery.
