An investment promotion conference for the Hunan-Hainan Co-constructed Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park was held in Beijing on October 28, 2026. Zhang Jian, vice chairperson of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee and chairperson of the Hunan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended.

The conference was co-hosted by the Beijing Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, the Hainan Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province. More than 130 participants were present, including representatives from relevant units in Hainan Province, representatives of Hunan chambers of commerce in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Inner Mongolia, as well as representatives from central state-owned enterprises, foreign enterprises, and key enterprises founded by Hunan entrepreneurs.

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province systematically explained the geographical advantages, policy incentives, and industrial opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port. Units such as the Dongfang Hunan-Hainan Co-constructed Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park provided detailed introductions to the park's functional positioning, characteristic industrial layout, supporting service guarantees, and investment promotion policies, targeting at the investment needs of enterprises.

Six projects, including a modular intelligent computing center computing-power integration equipment manufacturing  and an international computing-power equipment recycling trading platform, and a super thermal-insulation energy-saving glass production base, were signed on site.

This conference is a pragmatic measure to implement the annual major work arrangements made by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It aimed to thoroughly carry forward the principle of "cooperative co-construction and benefit sharing," further advancing the strategic collaboration between Hunan and Hainan. Efforts will be made to strengthen the platform of the Hunan-Hainan Co-constructed Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Park, and smooth the channel for "Hunan products going global and leveraging ports for overseas expansion." The two sides will strive to create a new cross-regional collaborative win-win pattern of "Hunan exports go overseas from Hainan, Hunan entrepreneurs shine brightly," thereby contributing to the coordinated high-quality industrial development of Hunan and Hainan.
