Shibadong Village

On October 25, after a Shibadong Village upgrade, Shi Quanyou’s house takes on a brand new look. This ancient Miao village, used to be traffic-clogged, now attracts up to 1,000 visitors daily. In 2017, there were 260,000 visits which brought in more than 2 million yuan.

On October 26, after a renovation, Shibadong primary school classrooms are spacious and bright. There are currently 25 students and the enrollment rate is 100%.

On October 25, the Lizizhai parking lot takes a new look. Over the past 5 years, Shibadong Village has built three parking lots at Feizizhai, Lizhaizhai, and Zhuzizhai. A large number of tourist facilities have been built, such as a tourist service center, an e-commerce service station, a Miaozhai specialty product store, a financial service station and a national cultural exhibition center.

Shibadong Village of Huayuan County, has a new clean and beautiful look. Over the past five years, it has implemented the three links of road, water and electricity; the five upgrades of water, kitchen, bath, sanitation, residential buildings and public service facilities. After the renovation, every household now has access to clean water and electricity. Here we see the profound changes have been taken from day to day in the village.

This newly-widened walkway serves 225 houses and is paved with green slates.

On October 26, a car travels on the shaded village road. on the village road. Over the past five years, Shibadong Village has widened and lengthened its village road by 4.8 kilometers, completed 6 kilometers of tractor road and 1,118 meters walkway.
