Wangcun Town (Furong Town)
In the Yongshun County, the town boasts a history of 2,000 years and is the site of former Youyang City in Qin and Han Dynasties. It is the door of Mengdong River waterway tour and the south gate of Mengdong River scenic spot. A well-known film entitled "Lotus Flower （Furong） Town" was shot in this town, thus it is also called "Lotus Flower Town".
The scenery in the town has unique bearing. On both sides of a five miles long street paved by black flagstone are shops with trap doors. Tujia Diaojiaolou (Diaojiao Buildings) is set up against the slope. The simple bearing of Tujia people is very charming. Besides, there is Wangcun waterfall which is about 60 meters high and 70 meters wide. Walking behind the hanging screen of the waterfall is like placing oneself in a crystal palace.
