Taiping Street in Pushi Ancient Town

Located in Pushi Town, Taiping Street features local delicacies and intangible cultural heritage items. There are restaurants, teahouses, craft shops, clothing stores, groceries and characteristic houses such as Yinzi dwellings. Many intangible cultural heritage products such as Tahu chisel paper-cut, Miao cross-stitch work, Nuo masks, and lanterns, as well as Pushi delicacies are offered on the street. In recent years, Taiping Street has emerged as an important scenic spot for cultural tourism and an important platform to showcase folk culture in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The street was selected as a provincial tourism and leisure block.
