Shennong Town in Zhuzhou, themed on Shennong culture, was upgraded based on the original Emperor Yan Square and Tiantai Park. It features nine landmark buildings and landscapes, including Shennong Sun Town, Shennong Statue, Shennong Tower, Shennong Lake, Shennong Grand Theater, Shennong Art Palace, Shennong Altar, Shennong Avenue, and Shennong Canal, forming a new type of urban open space integrating culture, tourism, and commerce, with a core area planned to cover approximately 1,620 mu (108 hectares).

The functional layout strictly organizes business formats according to the requirements of a low-carbon economy, focusing on developing low-carbon industries such as commerce, culture, tourism, entertainment, and fitness. Shennong Statue and Shennong Tower form the core, linked by a central axis. Starting from the Shennong Statue, it extends towards Tiantai Mountain and Shennong Lake respectively, forming three major corridors.

Shennong Square highlights the commanding role of the Shennong Statue, integrating multiple functions such as paying homage, tourism, festivals, and public leisure and entertainment. The square covers an area of approximately 100,000 square meters, with ten thousand floor tiles engraved with the Chinese character "Fu" or blessing in English, also known as Wanfu Square. At the square, residents can pay homage to Shennong Statue and offer flowers to the ancestor Shennong. Additionally, visitors can connect with the distant Emperor Yan's Mausoleum in Yanling via 3G signals and a large LED screen.

As the highest point in Shennong Town, Shennong Tower serves as the central observation platform of the entire landscape center. Viewed from above, it offers a breathtaking view of Zhuzhou. The tower stands 293 meters tall. From the top of the tower, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Zhuzhou. To enhance visitor experience, the tower will be fitted with additional observation walkways and a new observation deck at the summit. The sports center at the base of the tower will be converted into the Shennong Culture Exhibition Hall and a museum showcasing the scenic area's planning and development.
