Bianhe Street is a characteristic antique commercial street built based on Yueyanglou culture, Dongting culture and Baling culture.
Bianhe Street was opened on September 1, 2007, with a total length of nearly 500 meters. The street is located across from the Yuezhou Confucian Temple, a national key cultural heritage site under state protection. The street covers an area of 30 mu (2 hectares), with Yueyang Tower to the north and Dongting Lake to the west. It is divided into 4 commercial areas featuring more than 150 shops.
