Liuzi Street is located on the west bank of the Xiangshui River in Lingling District, Yongzhou City. Together with Liuzi Temple, it forms the Liuzi Street Historical and Cultural Block. Liuzi Street is 550 meters long and six meters wide. As part of the ancient Hunan-Guangxi courier route, the street is lined with ancient stores featuring Ming- and Qing-era architectural styles. The Liuzi Street Historical and Cultural Block was rated as a 4A national tourist attraction in 2013 and included in the first batch of 30 Chinese historical and cultural blocks in 2015.
