Xiangtan Haichang Aquarium

The Xiangtan Haichang Aquarium is the only large-scale comprehensive aquarium in Xiangtan City that focuses on the display of marine life. It integrates performances, interactions, tourism, parent-child events, and youth science popularization and education. It also serves as an excellent research and education base in Xiangtan City. It is only 20 minutes' drive from the downtown of Xiangtan and Zhuzhou, covering an area of 10,000 square meters and with a total water volume of 1,500 cubic meters. The aquarium boasts two venues, three major performances, four major playgrounds and seven exhibition areas composed of Amazon Rainforest, Zootopia, Fantasy Land, Undersea Tunnel, Tide Tribe, Deep Cave Adventure, and Polar Exploration.
