Located northwest of Lianyuan City, Hunan Province, the Meijiang Tourism Resort is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a national geopark. The area features a humid subtropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 16–17.3°C, offering a pleasant climate.
The area boasts unique natural landscapes, including an imperial mausoleum, two picturesque lakes, three rock gateways, four oases, five temples, six major waterfalls, a seven-mile-long canyon, eight perilous vistas, a hundred strange caves, a thousand unique rock formations, and tens of thousands of wintersweet trees. It is a comprehensive scenic area centered on natural scenery and characterized by its karst geological features.
