The national forest park is located to the north of downtown Huaihua, neighboring the Zhongpo Scenic and Historic Interest Area. Within its boundary there is a post road built during the Western Han Dynasty (206BC-8AD), sites of mountain villages of ancient tribe people, the Puti Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in western Hunan Province, a display hall of butterfly specimens, a garden of rare tree species, a garden of famous flowers, the Wuxi Scenic Garden and a hilltop terrace for admiring the scenery.
