The People's Hospital of Liuyang

Established in 1952, the People's Hospital of Liuyang was promoted to a grade A tertiary general hospital, the highest level in the nation's three-tier grading system for hospitals, on Janaury 15, 2025. The hospital has a capacity of 1,480 beds, 42 clinical departments and five medical technology departments. 

In 2024, the hospital was included in the first batch of demonstration hospitals for high-quality development in Hunan Province, and its 15 disciplines were identified as provincial and municipal key specialties.
