Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area

Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area integrates the elegance of green mountains and the charm of clear water. As a result, the lake enchants a large number of tourists every summer.

Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area is rated as a national 5A-level scenic area, a national eco-tourism demonstration area, a national wetland park, and a national water conservancy scenic area.

Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area is rich in dense forest cover and all of the natural vegetation within it are classified as class-one reserve. Tourists can enjoy a wide variety of recreational options in the area's rivers, lakes, waterfalls and springs such as rafting, water slides and fishing.

One of the most remarkable natural spectacles in Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area is the seemingly magical water mist that forms just before sunrise and right after sunset over Dongjiang Lake from April to November every year. Across the 12-kilometer flat lake, between the gatehouse of the Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area and the Dongjiang Reservoir Dam, rosy clouds slowly rise, giving off walls of color and radiance.

Ticket price for sightseeing trip: 55 yuan/person (including Xiaodongjiang scenic spot and Longjing Canyon)

Ticket price for boat trip: 90 yuan/person (including Xiaodongjiang scenic spot, Longjing Canyon, Dongjiang Lake, and Doushuai Lingyan Karst Cave)

Preferential prices are available from November to March of the following year. The ticket price for sightseeing trip is 50 yuan/person (including Xiaodongjiang scenic spot and Longjing Canyon). The ticket price for boat trip is 85 yuan/person (including Xiaodongjiang scenic spot, Longjing Canyon, Dongjiang Lake, and Doushuai Lingyan Karst Cave).
