Hunan Changde Wildlife World

Located near Qingshui Lake in Hanshou Tourist Resort, Hunan Changde Wildlife World covers a total area of more than 2,500 mu (about 166.7 ha.). It plans to raise about 20,000 animals from more than 300 rare and endangered species in the world. It serves as a large-scale comprehensive theme park that combines animal protection, breeding, science popularization, and tourism.

The park is divided into a vehicle area and a walking area, catering to different preferences of tourists. Currently, there are more than 5,000 animals of 200 species. Tourists have various options to explore the park, including a self-drive visit, sightseeing train, helicopter, or hot air balloon rides to observe rare birds and animals from above. They can also enjoy a forest theater show, a parrot performance, royal circus performances; watch birds releasing; experience equestrian riding, archery, boating; and, interact with dozens of animals up close.

Ticket prices (for reference):
adult ticket: 180 yuan/person;
children ticket: 120 yuan/person;
preferential ticket: 120 yuan/person; and,
package ticket: 428 yuan/set for two adults and one kid, and 278 yuan/set for one adult and one kid
