Folk Customs Experience Tour in Huaihua

Introduction

You can experience the authentic folk culture of the Dong ethnic group and explore new business forms. You may celebrate the Valentine's Day of the Dong people at Huangdu Dong Culture Village, which is considered to be the most beautiful Dong village in China. You may climb Wanfo Mountain to have a bird's eye view of Asia's largest Danxia landform and enjoy the charm of folk songs of the Dong ethnic group. You can also have a taste of mountain wine at Weichu Chateau Tourist Park and take part in a country music festival. Lastly, you can take a night tour on Heping Lake to enjoy a stunning light show.

How to get to Huangdu Dong Culture Village and Wanfo Mountain Scenic Area:
By self-driving: about a 2-hour and 40-minute drive, 160 km away from Huaihua downtown area; and,
By public transport: take a shuttle bus at Huaihua Integrated Passenger Terminal beside the Huaihua South Railway Station

How to get to Weichu Chateau Tourist Park and Heping Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area
By self-driving: about a 1-hour drive, 30 km away from Huaihua downtown area; and,
By public transport: take a high-speed train and get off at Zhijiang Station, then take a bus or a taxi to the destinations
