High-speed Rail Travel Route to Explore Beautiful Scenery of Grand Xiangxi Region

A cultural tourism development achievements presentation conference was held in Changsha recently. A high-speed rail travel route to explore the most beautiful scenery of Grand Xiangxi Region, favorable policies of high-speed rail travel, and four Changsha-Grand Xiangxi Region high-quality travel routes were released to cater for tourists' diversified needs.

The Grand Xiangxi Region represented by Zhangjiajie, Jishou, and Huaihua cities is characterized by rich tourist resources and huge development potential. Unparalleled scenery of mountains and rivers, incredible mysterious places, tranquil towns, and colorful folk customs form marvelous pictures.

You may trace along the high-speed rail travel route to explore the most beautiful scenery of Grand Xiangxi Region. There are enchanted peaks in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, China's most beautiful ancient town—Fenghuang, Aizhai Suspension Bridge Scenic Area, and Zhijiang, the site where the Chinese war zone accepted the Japanese surrender.

Favorable policies

From October 10 to December 31, 2022, a total of 41 scenic spots (21 in Huaihua, 10 in Zhangjiajie, and 10 in Xiangxi Prefecture) along the high-speed rail travel route will give a 20% discount to those who come to the scenic spots by high-speed trains. Tourists who take train G6431 to the scenic spots will enjoy half-price admission. Twelve scenic spots will offer free admission.
