On August 17 and 18, five top internet-famous bloggers from Middle Eastern countries such as Jordan and Algeria visited Zhangjiajie. They carried out video shoot titled "An Encounter in Hunan" at various scenic spots, including Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Huanglong Cave, Charming Xiangxi show, and Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon.
On the afternoon of August 17, the Middle Eastern tourists took the Bailong Elevator to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, the filming location of the "Hallelujah Mountains" in the movie Avatar. Upon seeing the towering "Qiankun Column," they were amazed by Zhangjiajie's natural landscapes.
On the morning of August 18, the group arrived at the Huanglong Cave, where they shared the beauty of nature, ecology, and local culture with global internet users through their immersive travel experiences. They were effusive in their excitement and praise for the underground world.
Throughout the journey, the internet celebrities engaged in activities such as taking photos, shooting short videos, and interacting closely with other tourists. They shared their travel experiences with followers via their respective social media accounts and interacted with internet users worldwide. Their posts received numerous likes and left the comment sections buzzing with activity.
The event was hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and organized by Hunan TV International. The specially-invited Middle Eastern influencers each boasts hundreds of thousands of followers on international social media platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), and TikTok. Their global perspectives, expressions, and influence will help boost Zhangjiajie's tourism toward internationalization and diversification, expanding into new markets.
