The delegation's first stop was the Bajiaozhai Cableway Service Center. After watching a promotional video displaying Langshan Mountain's seasonal scenery, they embarked on a cable car ride to enjoy stunning panoramic views. A magnificent painting was unfolded before them, composed of farmlands, village houses, Danxia peaks, and lush forests. Upon reaching the summit of Bajiaozhai, the Lao visitors were overwhelmed with breathtaking vistas and captured the beauty of nature through their camera lenses.
"This is Langshan Mountain, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in Xinning County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. The spectacular natural scenery is captivating, making it perfect for sightseeing and artistic inspiration. It truly deserves to be recommended to the world," said a member of the Lao National Special Economic Zone Management Committee on the site.

By the Fuyi River, the delegation experienced a bamboo rafting excursion. Gliding downstream on bamboo rafts, they witnessed crystal-clear waters mirroring the extraordinary peaks along both banks. With gentle breezes whispering through the air and birdsong echoing in serene mountains, this immersive journey allowed the foreign tourists to experience the unique charm of Langshan Mountain.
This year, the Langshan Mountain Scenic Area has received more than 35,100 tourists from European and American countries like Russian and Israel, as well as from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
"The tour serves as a platform to fully display Shaoyang's profound cultural heritage and abundant tourism resources," remarked Song Jiefeng, a special representative for International Friendship Exchange of the Hunan Provincial People's Government and director of the Hunan Representative Office of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Song noted that the Lao delegation's visit to Langshan Mountain not only allowed the delegates to experience the magnificence of Danxia landform, but also established a new bridge for deeper cultural tourism collaboration and people-to-people connectivity between the two regions.
