The Hunan University of Chinese Medicine held an event themed Duanwu Festival, or Dragon Boat Festival, and traditional Chinese medicine on May 27, ahead of the upcoming traditional Chinese festival. International students, dressed in Hanfu (traditional Chinese attire), wrapped zongzi with Chinese wolfberry and other medicinal and food ingredients. They also immersed themselves in learning Baduanjin, a set of traditional Chinese fitness exercises combining physical movement with breathing and meditation. This enabled students to experience the customs of Dragon Boat Festival and the charm of traditional Chinese medical culture. The photo above shows international students making sachets.
