Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, visited the 3rd CICEE on the afternoon of May 14. She stressed the need to thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping's important speeches, directives, and instructions on Hunan Province. She underlined efforts to make the exhibition unique, effective and high-quality. Practical measures should be taken to transform the achievements of the exhibition into new driving forces for development. She also urged efforts to accelerate the high-end, intelligent and green development of the construction machinery industry.

The exhibition attracted about 1,500 Chinese and foreign enterprises, and 35 of the world's top 50 construction machinery manufacturers. Secretary Wu Guiying visited booths of the National Advanced Manufacturing Cluster, Hunan Xiangjiang New Area, Sany Group, Zoomlion and other Hunan-based construction machinery enterprises. She also went to the booths of well-known enterprises at home and abroad such as Mesda, Guangxi Liugong, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group, and Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. She had an in-depth exchange of view with exhibitors, learned in detail about the characteristics, technical features, and supply and purchase matchmaking of the products on display, and listened to exhibitors' comments and suggestions on the exhibition.
Secretary Wu Guiying expressed the hope that participants will take the CICEE as a bridge to further deepen exchanges and cooperation, promote unimpeded trade, industrial connectivity and market integration, and propel transformative changes in the quality, efficiency, and impetus of the construction machinery industry. Changsha will go all out to ensure factors, create a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized first-class business environment, share development opportunities with the world, and work together to achieve win-win results.

This year's CICEE happened to fall on a weekend. Many parents took their children to the exhibition. A "hardcore" professional exhibition has become a grand gathering of the people. Secretary Wu Guiying praised the CICEE for using various interactive experiences to attract young people and help them appreciate the charm of construction machinery. It is hoped that the exhibition and convention hosting standards will continue to improve in order to achieve both social and economic benefits.
During her visit, Secretary Wu Guiying told the CICEE organizers to stick to the bottom line of safety, strengthen coordination and management, and implement various preventive measures to ensure a smooth and successful closing.
