The 3rd Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE) will open on May 12. According to the organizing committee on May 10, the number of small and medium-sized enterprises participating in the 2023 CICEE will be larger than the previous edition, accounting for around 70%.
The indoor exhibit arrangement is in full swing, with booth construction of different styles completed. Small mainframe equipment and spare parts products are already in place.
A number of "little giant" firms or leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that specialize in niche sectors will display their new products and technologies. Tianjin Know-How Technology will participate in the exhibition for the first time. It is one of the largest manufacturing and service providers of mining equipment in China. Know-How Technology will display its NWE560V Electric Crawler Hydraulic Excavator. With a weight of 50 tons, NWE560V is known as China's largest electric excavator. The equipment rolled off production line this April and will make its public debut at the exhibition, according to a person in charge of the company.
Participating enterprises will take the event as an opportunity to expand their overseas market. Shandong Chufeng Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. is one of the first aerial work equipment manufacturers in China. Chufeng Heavy Industry gained orders worth 70 million yuan in the previous session, and this year the company will exhibit more products. "Southeast Asia is an important overseas market for us, and the exhibition is deeply integrated into Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), which will help further enhance our brand's overseas influence," Said Shang Zhenfeng, general sales manager of the company.
"The construction machinery industry has many segmentations and a wide range of products. SMEs often play a role in shoring up weaknesses and forging strengths," said a person in charge of the organizing committee, adding that it is hoped to build a high-standard cooperation and exchange platform for SMEs through this exhibition and contribute to the construction of a better industrial ecology.
