On July 12 afternoon, Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, met in Changsha with Li Baodong, secretary general of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) and his entourage.

Secretary Wu Guiying thanked BFA for its concern and support for Changsha's economic and social development. She said that the second Conference of Global Economic Development and Security Forum of BFA, scheduled to take place in Changsha from October 29 to 31, will serve as a high-quality platform for Changsha to accelerate the realization of the blueprint outlined in the "Three Hubs and Four New Mission" Strategy and advance high-level opening up. We look forward to taking this opportunity to deepen exchanges and interactions in multiple fields and at various levels and jointly write a new chapter in openness, cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win results. Li Baodong thanked Changsha for its support for BFA, noting that Changsha has high-quality venues and facilities, beautiful sceneries, and rich experience in hosting conferences.
