A huge Hunan embroidery work "Thousands of Miles of Rivers and Mountains" was completed at the Changsha Embroidery Research Institute on September 19, 2022. It was made by Jiang Zaihong, Chinese Master of Arts and Crafts and representative inheritor of Hunan embroidery as a national intangible cultural heritage, and her team. The national treasure painting "Thousands of Miles of Rivers and Mountains" was drawn on a hand scroll. This embroidery work is at a full size of the original hand scroll, with a total length of 12 meters. Meticulous Hunan-style embroidery stitch skills were adopted in the embroidery. It will be displayed as a gift for the upcoming 20th CPC National Congress. (Photo/Tian Chao, Hunan Daily)
