Ethiopia is a landlocked country in northeastern Africa. It is known as "The Roof of Africa" because highlands cover about two-thirds of Ethiopia with an average altitude of nearly 3,000 meters. The country is rich in gold, platinum and other mineral resources. The Blue Nile River originates from Ethiopia's Lake Tana. Ethiopia is known as "Africa's water tower" because of its abundant water resources.

Teshome Toga Chanaka: A direct air cargo route from Changsha to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, was launched recently. It created a convenient "air pathway" for economic and cultural exchanges between Hunan and Ethiopia. African seafood and avocados can reach Changsha in just 11 hours.

Ethiopia is a major agricultural country in Africa. Our main exported agricultural products include coffee, soybeans, and avocados.
