Huangxing Town in Changsha Shortlisted for China's Top 100 Towns

The China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) recently released the annual research report on the competitiveness of China's top 100 and top 500 towns, and also top 100 towns in China's central and western regions respectively.


Huangxing Town in Changsha County, Changsha City, ranked 67th on the list.


One hundred towns in 13 provinces made the list. Among them, Guangdong and Jiangsu provinces have 38 and 33 towns, respectively, on the list; Zhejiang has 10; both Fujiang and Shandong have 4; Anhui has 3; Shaanxi has 2; and, Guizhou, Hebei, Hunan, Hubei, Henan, and Inner Mongolia have one town on the list respectively.

Huangxing Town of Changsha County and Yong'an Town of Liuyang County-level City were on the list of China's top 500 towns.


The shortlisted towns in Hunan for the top 100 towns in China's central region were: Huanghua, Ansha, Huangxing, and Jiangbei towns of Changsha County, and Yong'an, Dongyang, and Gugang towns of Liuyang County-level City.
