Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, met in Changsha with Stefan Messer, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Messer Group, and his entourage on the morning of August 25, 2023.

Secretary Shen, on behalf of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, welcomed the guests and congratulated on the fruitful achievements made by the joint venture established between Messer Guop and Hunan during the past 25 years. He remarked that Hunan has been thoroughly implementing the blueprint of the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy drawn by President Xi Jinping, and hoped both sides to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges to achieve greater results. Hunan would continue to optimize the business environment and better serve and guarantee the development of foreign-funded enterprises in Hunan, he added.

Stefan Messer thanked Hunan for its strong support in facilitating Messer Group's expansion in the province, and was proud of the results achieved through the 25 years of cooperation between the two sides. He remarked that Messer Group and Hunan shared sound collaboration foundation, and Hessen State of Germany, where Messer Group is headquartered, has established a friendly province-state relationship with Hunan Province. He believed that both sides will further expand partnership in the future to better realize mutual benefits and win-win results.
