Tan Zheng

Born in June 14, 1906 in Hunan Province and died in November, 1988 in Beijing, Tan Zheng was director of the Political Department of No.12 Army of the Red Army at Chang Ting in Fujian Province in 1930. He was conferred the rank of army general in 1955.

  On October 11, 1945, Mao Zedong returned to Yanan after Chongqing Talks, Tan Zheng (3rd, R) went to the airport to meet Mao Zedong.


Tan Zheng was with his wife and kids in February 1955.
