The 5th "Xiaoxiang Friendship Award" Winners: Mr. Donglin Zhang

Mr. Donglin Zhang,American, doctor of Horticulture, tenure professor, forestry expert of Hunan Academy of Forestry.

He has charged more than six national projects, and successfully introduced and developed advanced technology and plant material resources, which gain him 3 times provincial Technology Progress 2nd awards and 3 patents.

He trained young professionals in tissue culture technology and biotechnology in forest tree breed for Hunan Academy of Forestry. He has instructed and trained over 6 post-graduates and master-graduates and more than twenty professionals. He helped Hunan Academy of Forestry to establish  cooperation with foreign institutions such as the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Maine.
