Of the total, post services was 19.26 billion yuan in 2017, an increase of 34.4%, and telecommunication services was 92.85 billion yuan, a growth of 67%. The year of 2017 also saw 6.744 million fixed telephone subscribers, decreasing by 1.2%. Mobile phone users numbered 56.834 million by the end of 2017, up by 13.8%. Internet broadband subscribers amounted to 13.155 million, a year-on-year increase of 23.3%.
