The main dialogue session of the opening ceremony of the 2025 Zhangjiajie International Tourism Innovation Week kicked off recently. As the highlight of this year's event, this exchange activity, themed "Silicon Valley of Cultural Tourism, Vison of the World," brought together influential figures from the cultural tourism sector both domestically and internationally, injecting core intellectual momentum into the entire event.

At the main dialogue session, guests engaged in in-depth discussions around three core topics: "integration of culture, tourism, industry, and education," "international collaboration," and "building a sustainable ecosystem." Participants agreed that the Tourism Innovation Week has helped promote pragmatic cooperation by fostering consensus among government, enterprises, academia, and research institutions, continuing to unleash momentum for the leapfrog development of the cultural and tourism industry, and opening new avenues for the sector's high-quality development. The dialogue also spotlighted the deep integration of Zhangjiajie's natural wonders and cultural wisdom, exploring innovative models for efficient resource alignment, business model restructuring and upgrading, and multi-stakeholder value creation, thereby providing practical insights for industrial advancement.

This year's Tourism Innovation Week, themed "Threshold·Transition," commenced on September 26. The event featured three major sections —"one award, one exhibition, and one festival"—dedicated to building an internationally influential "Silicon Valley of Cultural Tourism" ecosystem. Compared to last year, this year's event has seen comprehensive upgrades in both scale and activities. To date, 16 parallel dialogues and 20 co-creation workshops have been held, attracting over 160 key global figures from the cultural tourism sector. Supporting activities such as field visits by international buyers, a signing ceremony for strategic cooperation, and business negotiations have been conducted simultaneously, facilitating the implementation of a series of practical cooperation outcomes.

During the Tourism Innovation Week, the 2025 Zhangjiajie Tourism Characteristic Products Expo took place from September 26 to October 8 in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie. Centered on the theme "Boundless Gifts Beyond Borders," the expo features five distinctive exhibition areas showcasing quality tourism products from home and abroad, intangible cultural heritage-themed cultural creative products, and innovative design works.
