2025-01-09 Download Print

The Guanyinyan Tunnel along Yinxing Road in Changsha City opened to traffic on the morning of January 7, 2025. A novel method of constructing an unequal span four-arch tunnel has been adopted, filling in the gaps in China in this regard. The opening of the four-arch tunnel marks that the line linking Yinxing Road and Changsha-Yiyang Expressway expansion section goes operational. Thus, a new passage connecting Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan cities with western Hunan has taken shape. (Photo/Li Jian)
