The service hours of Changsha's entire metro network will be extended to 24:00 between December 12 and 16, to cooperate with the first stage of the 2024 Chinese Table Tennis Club Super League (CTTSL). In particular, the Hongqiao-Xiangtan North Station section of the Changsha Metro Line 3 will operate until 23:00 during the period.

The 2024 CTTSL's first stage is scheduled to be held at the gymnasium of Central South University from December 12 to 16. With a large influx of passengers expected during the match, passengers will not allowed to exit from Exit 3 and 4 at the Metro Line 3 Central South University Station. All passengers should enter and leave the station in an orderly manner according to the guidance of station staff.
