Exit

Foreign nationals who exit China shall submit their exit/entry documents including passports or other international travel documents to the exit/entry border inspection authorities for examination, and verify the validity period of their visa.

Prohibited Exit Situations

(1) Any individual who has been sentenced to criminal penalties but has not yet completed their sentences, or is a defendant in criminal cases or a criminal suspect, except those convicted who are to be transferred to other countries to serve their sentences under relevant agreements;

(2) Any individual who is involved in unsettled civil cases and is not allowed to exit China upon the decision of the People's Courts of China

(3) Any individual who fails to pay labor remuneration owed to workers and therefore is ordered not to leave the country by decisions of the relevant departments under the State Council or of provincial, autonomous regional, or municipal people's governments;

(4) Other circumstances in which exit shall not be allowed in accordance with laws or administrative regulations.
