As China-Africa economic and trade cooperation continues to deepen, the African market is becoming an important choice for Shaoyang-based enterprises to "go global." On April 20, it was learned from Amanbo-Shaoyang Africa Center that the "China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Africa (Morocco)," hosted by the Secretariat of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo Organizing Committee and Morocco's Ministry of Industry and Trade, will be held from June 11 to 14 in Casablanca, Morocco. Currently, Shaoyang City has initiated the organization of enterprise participation, promoting Shaoyang enterprises to go global and share new opportunities in China-Africa economic and trade cooperation.
The Morocco exhibition will feature eight themed areas, namely African Goods, Mining, Complete Vehicles and Auto Parts, Consumer Goods, Agricultural Products and Food, Medical Equipment, Technical Equipment, and Service Trade. The Amanbo-Shaoyang Africa Center is actively cooperating to organize enterprises from Shaoyang City to participate.
As a core achievement of the strategic cooperation between the Shaoyang Municipal People's Government and Amanbo of Shenzhen Right Network Technology Co., Ltd., the Amanbo-Shaoyang Africa Center has been dedicated since its opening to providing Shaoyang enterprises with a full-chain service from targeted market research and multi-dimensional brand promotion to efficient channel implementation. Amanbo has been deeply involved in the African market for 25 years, with self-operated offices, physical showrooms, and overseas warehouses in multiple African countries, a localized operations team of over 300 people, and a market network covering more than 30 countries.
"Morocco is the fifth-largest economy in Africa, with a solid economic foundation, a favorable market environment, and strong regional connectivity," said Lai Wenhao, head of the Amanbo-Shaoyang Africa Center. He noted that Morocco focuses on industries such as automotive, new energy, agricultural technology, hardware and building materials, and textiles and apparel. Shaoyang has many competitive products in these fields, and this exhibition will allow more African customers to get a close-up look at Shaoyang products. Additionally, as one of the host countries for the 2030 World Cup, Morocco's demand in areas like infrastructure construction, tourism industry, and daily consumer goods is expected to continue growing, bringing broad cooperation opportunities for Shaoyang enterprises.
Leveraging Morocco's unique position as a "test market" for the European and African markets, enterprises can verify product adaptability at a lower cost and achieve rapid market access. During the exhibition, enterprises can also conduct on-site visits to local key industrial parks and markets to understand the latest policies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes. A long-term follow-up mechanism will be provided post-exhibition to assist enterprises in advancing the implementation of cooperation projects.
The Amanbo-Shaoyang Africa Center, drawing on its years of experience and overseas layout in the African market, will provide enterprises with one-stop services including overseas marketing, cross-border payment collection, customs declaration and logistics, customs clearance and warehousing, and local after-sales support, helping Shaoyang's high-quality products go global and take root in Africa. With the support of the Shaoyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Shaoyang Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Shaoyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and other departments and relevant associations, nearly ten enterprises have currently completed registration and matchmaking.
"The event focuses on the Moroccan market, and we will subsequently expand to key potential markets in Africa such as Kenya, South Africa, and Nigeria," said Lai Wenhao. The registration deadline is May 10, and enterprises that meet the criteria and are interested in exploring the African market are encouraged to complete registration and matchmaking promptly, leveraging the platform's advantages to take the first step in "going global."
