On September 4, the 2026 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair opened in Changsha. Diplomatic envoys and representatives from overseas institutions from Australia, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, and other countries attended the fair with enterprises for procurement. About 20,000 merchants and guests, including heads of international economic organizations, representatives of cross-border business associations, leading enterprises, and heads of e-commerce platforms, gathered in Changsha, the Star City.

Themed "Trade Smart, Trade Global," the 2026 trade fair has a total exhibition area of 13,000 square meters and features five exhibition zones: a cross-border e-commerce characteristic zone, an industrial belt zone, a service provider and industrial park zone, a platform zone, and a supply-demand matchmaking zone. This covers the entire cross-border e-commerce industrial chain, ecosystem, and scenarios.

Characteristic industrial clusters from 13 cities and one prefecture in Hunan made a collective appearance. Construction machinery and electronic information of Changsha, cemented carbide of Zhuzhou, intelligent manufacturing of Xiangtan, characteristic light industry of Shaoyang, fishing floats and tackle of Yueyang, light industry and textiles of Changde, and leather goods and luggage of Yongzhou, jointly offered a panoramic display of the "Hunan-made" manufacturing layout. Local leading enterprises such as Anker Innovations, S'YOUNG, Sinocare, and Miracle Miles, along with hundreds of quality enterprises, brought their flagship products, covering diverse categories including consumer electronics, new energy, medical devices, cultural and creative products, and food and catering.

Top platforms including Amazon Global Selling, Walmart International Marketplace, Alibaba International, Temu, SHEIN, and AliExpress were all present, enabling enterprises to choose the right channels according to their target markets and precisely match overseas channels. Full-service providers in international logistics, overseas warehouses, third-party payment, intellectual property, and AI tools were also on hand, accelerating the improvement of the service chain from transaction to delivery and making going global smoother.

The supply-demand matchmaking zone used a digital system to pre-match participants in advance and held specialized pairing sessions by category, so that buyers and sellers could "find the right partners, communicate effectively, and get deals done." In the offline exhibition zone, senior experts in customs affairs, finance and taxation, banking, and electronic ports were stationed to provide one-on-one answers to long-standing challenges such as compliance, tax rebates, and fund settlement. The enterprises could come with questions and leave with solutions.

The trade fair is a key economic and trade event reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Commerce. Held annually since 2022, it has been held for four consecutive sessions. There are now seven cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in Hunan, ranking among the top in central China. Over the past five years, the transaction scale has maintained double-digit average annual growth. Changsha remains firmly among the national top ten and in the first tier of central China.
