According to the Hunan General Station of Immigration Inspection, during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Hunan's ports are expected to handle 13,000 inbound and outbound passenger trips, roughly the same as the same period last year.
During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Changsha Huanghua International Airport will operate international passenger flights to 10 cities in 10 countries: London (UK), Nairobi (Kenya), Seoul (South Korea), Bangkok (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Vientiane (Laos), Hanoi (Vietnam), Singapore, and Manila (the Philippines), as well as Hong Kong SAR, China. Over 40 flights are scheduled, with an estimated 9,000 passenger trips expected. The daily peak hours for inbound and outbound passenger flow are expected to fall from 21:00 to 01:00 the next day. June 19 and 21 are projected to be peak days, with about 3,500 inbound and outbound passenger trips each day.

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport will offer international passenger flights to four South Korean cities (Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Cheongju), Singapore, and Hong Kong SAR, China. Over 30 flights are scheduled, with an estimated 4,000 passenger trips expected. The peak hours for passenger flow are expected to fall from 10:00 to 15:00 and 20:00 to 23:00 on June 20, with about 2,200 inbound and outbound passenger trips on that day.
As of June 15, the total number of inbound and outbound passenger trips at Hunan's ports recorded 806,000, marking a year-on-year increase of 11%. An official from the Hunan General Station of Immigration Inspection noted that, as the college entrance exam (gaokao), general senior high school academic proficiency exam (xuekao), and senior high school entrance exam (zhongkao) conclude, a large number of students and their parents are setting off on overseas graduation trips. Passenger flow at the ports is expected to hit a new high.
To brace for the holiday travel rush, the Hunan General Station of Immigration Inspection has mobilized their Changsha and Zhangjiajie stations to forecast and monitor passenger flow at ports in real time, promptly open additional inspection channels, deploy extra staff for traveler assistance, and work with airports, airlines, and joint inspection units to ensure efficient clearance.
The border inspection authority reminds travelers to check official channels such as the National Immigration Administration (NIA) website and its official WeChat account, the China Consular Affairs website, the "Consular Express (领事直通车)" WeChat account, and the "China Consular (中国领事)" mini program, to obtain information about their destinations. Foreign nationals preparing to enter China are advised to fill out their arrival cards via NIA's government service platform (s.nia.gov.cn) before or after check-in abroad.
For inquiries about entry and exit policies, travelers may contact NIA's 12367 service platform, which offers 24/7 services in six languages—Chinese, English, French, Russian, Japanese, and Korean. Additionally, travelers can also ask on-site immigration officers for help during their border clearance. Chinese citizens encountering emergencies abroad should contact the local police and seek assistance from Chinese embassies or consulates, or use the "Emergency Help" function on the "Consular Express" WeChat public account, or call the China Consular Protection Hotline 12308 (add the prefix 86-10 when calling from overseas).
